Accounts Legal Cashier Apprentice
We are looking for an apprentice to join our Head office in Edgbaston. Davisons Solicitors have an exciting opportunity for those who are seeking an apprenticeship within a legal environment. Candidates must be actively registered with an apprenticeship scheme, we are also able to recommend a scheme for any candidates wishing to pursue an apprenticeship within a law firm.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Performing bank reconciliation(training Provided).
- Dealing with ad hoc queries presented to the team via MS Outlook.
- Possess high levels of speed and accuracy.
- Have a good telephone manner and be comfortable speaking with clients on the telephone.
- Checking bills for unpaid disbursements.
- Month end processing.
- Support colleagues as required.
- Client and Office account cheque reconciliations.
- Any other duties as required.
About the Person:
To be a successful candidate for this role you must also have the following attributes, skills and experience:
- GCSE English and Maths
- Highly numerate and a good attention to detail
- Confident and polite telephone manner
- Ability to work independently, efficiently and use initiative
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Previous experience working in a legal office would be an advantage.
