Davisons Law is pleased to announce that it has raised £10,000 for The Children’s Trust charity

Davisons Law are happy to announce that The Children’s Trust were chosen to receive a generous donation accumulated by the law firm. The No1 Property lawyers in Birmingham and Warwickshire have donated £10,000 to the charity, deliver rehabilitation, education, and community services for children with brain injury and neurodisability.

The donation is one of the latest in the long list of donations the firm has made this year; having also raised and donated money for a number of causes such as Cancer research, the Lily Mae Foundation and A Child of Mine; with fundraising efforts for charities remaining a priority for the firm.

Managing director Gary Davison said: ‘The Children’s Trust does tremendous work helping children and young people. It is a pleasure to be able to help such a great cause, and we hope that our donation will help provide much needed resources.’

As well as the great work The Children’s Trust does; there is also a personal link to the charity. Colmore Row director Daniel Stones 6-year-old niece, Lois, had treatment at their specialist rehabilitation centre after suffering a seizure in November 2022 leaving swelling on her brain.

This led to Lois being unable to use the right side of her face and, as a result, she was referred to The Children’s Trust in Surrey. With Lois also being non-verbal, the staff and therapists were superb creating a two-symbol picture system to ensure she could communicate properly and giving Lois a mix of therapies such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and music therapy; as well as ensuring she was able to have some time out of her wheelchair; which she loved.

Daniel said on the charity and donation: ‘I am extremely proud to see the company donating £10,000 to The Childrens Trust. The work they did with Lois, as well as countless other children, is incredible. It was inspiring to see how the therapists and staff went to such lengths to accommodate and help Lois and make her feel comfortable.

With their help Lois continues to get better each day and I am pleased that Davisons made such a big contribution to help them continue their great work.’

Kat Caddick, the partnering manager at the Children’s Trust, said: ‘Honestly this donation means so much. The donation from Davisons is incredible and all of us at The Children’s Trust are so grateful for such a generous donation.’

As Davisons continues to grow as a company; they are still small enough to care and will continue prioritising raising money for more great causes.
