Davisons Law raise over £3,500 for charity CureLeukemia!

Davisons Law raise over £3,500 for charity CureLeukemia!

Following the success of last year’s Charity Quiz night, Davisons Law have once again partnered with Solihull Moors and local estate agent SmartHomes to raise over £3,500 for charity CureLeukemia.

The event saw over 100 people in attendance taking part in the quiz, which was once again hosted by Dangerous Dave. Following the quiz, guests were able to take part in a raffle and auction with many great prizes to be won, all in an effort to bolster the fundraising for the charity.

The night proved a great success, with the funds going towards CureLeukemia, supporting them in offering potential life-saving treatment to patients across the UK.

Equity Director, Darryl Wilkes commented on the night:

“Our quiz night is always a great night, and this year was no different! It was great to see so many people in attendance and taking part in the quiz to help raise funds for such a great cause. CureLeukemia do great work and hopefully the money raised tonight can go a long way in helping them continue to do that great work.

We’d also like to thank SmartHomes, Solihull Moors, Move Reports, and GrayPaul who all helped organise and offer prizes. This quiz night is a testament to how local companies and communities can come together to help raise money for vital charities such as CureLeukemia.”

With Davisons Law becoming the Community Sponsors of Solihull Moors and this also being their chosen charity of the year, the event was once again hosted at the Armco arena.

This is Davisons first charity event of the year, with the firm already planning future events in the coming months in an effort to try and beat its total donation last year of £50,000.00. On the firms fundraising efforts, Managing Director Gary Davison commented:

‘Having roots and relationships in the community is one of our priorities at Davisons Law. Our company strapline is moving you forward, and this applies to all forms of life- not just property transactions. The work we do to raise funds for charities helps them support and provide for countless people and seeing that we have once again raised money through a successful charity night, this time in aid of CureLeukemia, is really pleasing and shows our commitment to the cause.’

The next quiz night will be held at Stafford Golf club on June 27th. Once again, all proceeds will be for Charity Cure Leukemia with tickets going on sale later this month.

About Cure Leukemia

Cure Leukemia was established in 2003 by Professor Charlie Craddock CBE and patients Graham Silk and Michael Woolley to allow patients with blood cancer in the Birmingham region to access remarkably effective new treatments which were then becoming available.

Since then, CureLeukemia has been able to expand to a national level, and CureLeukemia are now able to offer potential life-saving treatment to patients across the UK.

Thanks to our huge CL Family of dedicated fundraisers, CureLeukemia have been able to continue to grow each year and connect more patients to potentially lifesaving treatment.
