He graduated from Coventry University before completing the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School.
Known for his calm and reassuring manner, he puts clients at ease during what is, more often than not, the most difficult periods of their lives. As a member of Resolution, he is committed to resolving disputes constructively wherever possible, whilst remaining robust should court proceedings become necessary. He has experience in both negotiation and contested hearings, ensuring his clients are supported at every stage of the process.
He regularly advises on issues involving pensions, property adjustment orders and wider financial disclosure.
He has assisted on high-value and complex financial cases, including working alongside a senior partner who represented the wife in the reported case of McClean v McClean [2023] EWHC 1735 (Fam), which involved complex business assets.
More recently, he represented a mother in complex private law children proceedings involving allegations of hostility to contact and applications for the instruction of independent experts, including child psychologists. He successfully opposed those applications and obtained a £10,000 costs order at a contested final hearing.
