In my day-to-day role, I assist in managing the majority of Lisa’s sale files and am steadily expanding my experience in purchase transactions under her guidance. My responsibilities include handling all correspondence—from clients and solicitors to lenders and third parties—ensuring each matter is progressed smoothly and efficiently. I oversee daily completions, making sure every file has final approval, client funds and mortgage advances are in place, and that all documentation and accounts requirements are fully prepared for a successful completion. I speak with a wide range of clients, agents, lenders, and third parties every day, offering reassurance, updates, and support whenever it’s needed.
At DP Law, we provide comprehensive residential conveyancing services, including sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and transfers of part, company purchases, and more. I also have strong experience in bridging loan transactions from my previous role. While I am particularly confident with freehold matters, I am actively growing my knowledge and expertise in leasehold work as well.
Conveyancing is a process I genuinely enjoy — no two transactions or clients are ever the same, and the sense of achievement when a matter completes smoothly is unmatched. Hearing that clients have received excellent service makes every effort worthwhile. DP Law has been an exceptional place to continue my career; the team has been incredibly welcoming, supportive, and collaborative, and the work–life balance is among the best I’ve experienced.
Outside of work, I love spending time with friends and family over good food and good wine. I also enjoy long beach walks with my dog, Misty — being from Port Talbot, we’re lucky to have a beautiful coastline right on our doorstep.
Looking ahead, my goal is to progress through CILEX and become a Legal Executive. I’m continuing to broaden my knowledge and experience, and I’m excited for the next steps in my professional journey.
