Is the clinic really free?
Yes. Properly free. The appointment costs you nothing and there’s no obligation to instruct us afterwards. If you decide to take things further, we’ll
explain costs clearly before any work begins. No surprises, no small print.
What if I want to instruct you afterwards?
That’s entirely up to you. If you’d like to take things further, the lawyer you meet on the day can confirm the exact next steps and set out the costs involved. You won’t be rushed into a decision and there’s no pressure either way.
Can I bring someone with me?
Of course. You’re welcome to bring a partner, family member, friend or anyone else you’d find helpful. Plenty of people prefer a second pair of ears, especially when there’s a lot to take in.
What if I'm running late?
No need to worry. It’s a drop-in clinic, so you can simply arrive when you’re able to and we’ll see you as soon as a lawyer is free. If you’ve booked a specific slot, a quick call to let us know is appreciated, but it isn’t essential.
What if my issue isn't on your list?
The list is only a guide. The lawyers running our clinics cover a broad range of legal matters, so it’s well worth coming along even if your situation isn’t mentioned. If it turns out to be something we don’t handle, we’ll point you in the right direction.
