Litigation Legal Secretary
As a highly organised and detail-oriented Litigation Legal Secretary you will provide essential administrative support to our Litigation team based in the Solihull office. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in IT applications, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and manage an organised filing system, including daily filing, as well as the opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing schedules and appointments.
- Manage Litigation Solicitor(s) email correspondence, where applicable save it to our SOS case management system and ensure accurate time recording.
- Prepare and format legal documents using Microsoft Word and Office applications.
- Conduct audio typing for dictations and transcriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organised filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties, ensuring all correspondence is handled professionally.
- Assist in the preparation of case files and documentation for court proceedings.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and other communications promptly.
- Draft and prepare correspondence and legal documents using the firm's SOS case management system.
- Assist with the drafting, issuing, and follow-up of client bills and fee-related documentation.
- Handle general administrative duties and tasks that support the efficiency of the Solihull based Litigation Solicitor(s).
