Two New Talent Acquisition Specialists Join Leading Law Firm to Spearhead National Growth Strategy

Two talent acquisition specialists have joined leading law firm Davisons Law as part of its strategic expansion, which includes over 53 new positions across its nationwide network of offices.

Claire Thompson joins as Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Manager alongside Kerrie-Anne Temperley as Talent Acquisition Specialist to transform the firm’s approach to attracting and retaining exceptional legal talent during this period of unprecedented growth.

During their first few weeks, the pair have been visiting the firm’s 20 offices across England and Wales to understand the specific needs of each location and department.

Claire, who brings extensive experience in transformation and business change projects, said: “I am delighted to join Davisons Law and excited to be working with Kerrie-Anne. Together, we will be responsible for developing and implementing new ways of working that will transform talent acquisition and onboarding at Davisons Law.

“One of my strengths is relationship management, which is essential in talent acquisition to build and maintain relationships with candidates and potential hires. I have received such a warm welcome from everyone, and I have personally enjoyed travelling around our offices and meeting all the great people that work for Davisons Law.”

The appointments come at a crucial time for Davisons Law, as the firm continues its strategic expansion with several recent developments, including the opening of its second Welsh office in Cardiff, just months after establishing its presence in Bridgend. The Cardiff office, operating under the DP Law brand, is located at Penguin House in Brigantine Place and marks the firm’s 20th location across the UK.

Kerrie-Anne, who brings over five years of specialist recruitment experience, said: “I’m excited to be joining the Davisons Law Team. I’ll be supporting Claire, all of our offices and collaborating across various departments. So far, I’ve found the experience to be incredibly positive, and I’ve been welcomed by such a lovely and friendly team, which has made the transition smooth and enjoyable. I’m looking forward to all the great work ahead.”

The new talent team will focus on several key initiatives, including bringing recruitment fully in-house to accelerate time to hire by simplifying the hiring process. They will ensure candidates get information faster and identify the best-fit talent while creating consistent hiring practices across all locations and establishing a more transparent and engaging candidate journey.

They will also represent Davisons at key career fairs and early careers events at universities, colleges and sixth forms to attract promising legal talent at the beginning of their careers.

Gary Davision, Managing Director at Davisons Law, said: “We would like to welcome Claire and Kerrie-Anne to the team. This recruitment drive represents a significant milestone in our growth journey. With our workforce now exceeding 470 employees, we’re seeing unprecedented demand across all our offices, and we’re looking for talented individuals to join our team.”

The current recruitment campaign includes roles ranging from Family Law, Civil Litigation, Private Client and Residential Property Solicitors/Legal Executives to Paralegals, Legal Assistants, Client Relationship Assistants, and reception positions, with a particular focus on strengthening the firm’s teams to meet growing demand.
