At Davisons Law, we believe that great client service starts with great people. While delivering exceptional legal advice remains our priority, we’re equally committed to creating an environment where our colleagues can develop, progress, and build long-term, rewarding careers.
Professional development isn’t simply about promotions or qualifications. It’s about recognising potential, providing opportunities, and giving people the confidence to succeed. Across the firm, many of our colleagues have built impressive careers through hard work, dedication, and the support of those around them.
Two excellent examples of this are Senior Associate Solicitor Nataleigh Logan and Senior Associate Solicitor Dom Levy, whose journeys demonstrate the opportunities available for those looking to grow within Davisons Law.
From Legal Assistant to Associate Director
Nataleigh Logan joined Davisons Law in November 2009 with ambitions of building a career in residential conveyancing. Through determination, continuous learning, and the support of colleagues around her, she steadily progressed through the firm, becoming an associate director and head of the New Build department.
After becoming head of New Build in 2022. Nataleigh continued to develop her expertise and take on increasing responsibility. Her commitment to delivering outstanding service to clients, combined with her willingness to continually improve, led to further progression, and today she is an Associate Director based at our Edgbaston office.
Reflecting on her journey, Nataleigh credits much of her development to the encouragement and guidance she has received throughout her career, particularly from Equity Director Sam Ingram. Having someone who recognised her potential, challenged her to develop and supported her progression gave her the confidence to continue striving for the next step in her career.
Her story demonstrates that at Davisons Law, progression isn’t limited by where you start. With the right attitude and support, colleagues are encouraged to reach their full potential.
Eleven Years of Growth
Dominic Levy’s career at Davisons Law is another example of what can be achieved when talent is recognised and nurtured.
Joining the firm in 2015 as a Legal Assistant, Dom quickly found himself working in an environment where career progression wasn’t simply discussed—it was actively encouraged. From his very first day, he felt supported and motivated to make the most of every opportunity available to him.
After qualifying as a Solicitor in 2018, Dom’s career continued to accelerate. Just two years later, he became Head of Department after being identified as the right person to lead the team forward.
For Dom, that vote of confidence from Sam Ingram was a defining moment.
Rather than simply recognising his technical ability, Sam saw his leadership potential and encouraged him to pursue opportunities that would allow him to grow both professionally and personally. That trust and belief gave Dom the confidence to take on greater responsibility and develop both himself and his department.
Since then, Dom has gone on to become both an Associate and now a Senior Associate, continuing to build on his achievements while helping develop those around him.
Looking back on his journey, Dom believes one of the biggest differences at Davisons Law is the culture.
“The personal element is what helped me grow over the last eleven years. You’re not treated as a number. People take a genuine interest in your development and want you to become the best version of yourself.”
The Importance of Mentorship
While every career journey is unique, both Nataleigh and Dom highlight the value of having experienced leaders who invest time in developing others.
Mentorship at Davisons Law isn’t about simply supervising work. It’s about recognising potential, encouraging ambition, and providing colleagues with opportunities to take the next step in their careers.
For both Nataleigh and Dom, Equity Director Sam Ingram has played an important role in that journey, offering guidance, encouragement, and the confidence to pursue opportunities that have shaped their careers. Her support reflects the wider culture across the firm, where experienced colleagues are committed to helping others succeed.
A Place to Build Your Future
At Davisons Law, we’re proud of the careers our people build with us.
Whether someone joins as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, Apprentice or Solicitor, we believe in creating opportunities for progression based on ability, commitment, and ambition. We want our people to feel supported throughout every stage of their career and empowered to achieve more than they thought possible.
The journeys of Nataleigh and Dom are just two examples of what can happen when talent is recognised, opportunities are created, and people are genuinely invested in.
Because at Davisons Law, we’re not just building successful legal teams—we’re helping build successful careers.
